Five years ago, when we all were so young and optimistic and Almond restaurant was still on the highway in Bridgehampton in front of the King Kullen, I went to a goat dinner there and wrote about it for the Low Summer Issue 2010. The goat farmer featured in the story, Lynn Fleming of Lynnhaven Farms in Pine Bush, N.Y. She was lovely. And dinner was great. So if you missed it, we can’t guarantee a return to youth and optimism, but we can offer a five-course dinner for $75 paired with Paumanok and Channing Daughters wine that runs the gamut from goat ramen, tacos and Cobb salad to a finish of goat’s milk panna cotta. Tangy!
Contact the folks at Almond to make a reservation. Dinner starts a 7 p.m.
